Feedback


Responses from people who have a specific interest or investment (time, financial, emotional) in a project[4]. Feedback[2] can be positive or negative. For example, your teacher may be a stakeholder[3] in one of your in-class projects. When your teacher is discussing with you what they think about it, they are giving you feedback[2].

When a system[5] does something, and something happens as a result of that thing, if the system that created that outcome[6] receives information – that’s feedback. (That’s why it’s feed-BACK).

Feedback is a mechanism, process or signal that works within prescribed parameters to control[7] a system – this is called a feedback loop[8].
