Changing the Build Platform

Unity supports a number of different build platforms.

Go to File > Build settings…

You can see the different build platforms and manage installing new ones here

To switch[1] the build platform select it and click Switch[1] Platform

This can take a while so only do it when you need[2] to, usually at the start of a project[3].

Terms definitions
2. need. An identified requirement of a person, group, or environment[5]. A need is identified from an issue[6] and sits within a context[7]. Technological practice[4] can be undertaken in an attempt to meet an identified need.
3. project. A series of tasks that need to be completed in order to reach a specific outcome[8]
