When considering future proofing you need to think about what will happen to your outcome in the future once you have completed it.

Questions that you should consider are:

  • Who will look after the outcome in the future?
  • How easy is it to update?
  • Is the outcome easy to modify and improve?
  • Can additional features be added?
  • Can the users / owners update the outcome themselves?
  • Can it be automatically or remotely updated?
  • Does the outcome need to have a lifespan / end date?
