Video games are a technical achievement with many different moving parts. Animation, programming, 3D modelling, sound Design, scripts, user interfaces, artificial intelligence routines, and music to name a few. Any one of these alone would be considered art. Why is it then that video games are looked down on by a large proportion of society and the arts community in general?
