Comparative operators

These are symbols that you put into logical statements that are either true or false. They are used to compare two things, they are:
* equal to (=)
* not equal to (≠)
* greater than (>)
* less than (<) * greater than or equal to (≥) * less than or equal to (≤) These symbols are not what is drawn in most text-based programming because not all of them are available on your keyboard. For example, not equal to, is often represented by an exclamation mark like != because those are symbols available on most regular keyboards.
